It helps nearby members find and trade with you faster. In fact, fill out your entire profile as much as possible because this helps build trust between members and builds friendships.

One of the fastest ways to fire up your bartering experience to is to load BITS™ into your wallet because as this community is getting started, the faster BITS™ flood the web-app, the faster it will grow. Here’s a quick video about it here.

Often people create their Barter It® account and set up their profile, but then forget to actually create an offer, which simply means creating a listing in the web-app to list something you want to barter. It’s significantly easier for people to find you and start bartering with you when you have an offer, if not many offers, in the app.

When you create an offer, make sure that you explain your product, service or whatever you’re bartering, as much as possible. Put a lot of details in your listings so that people know exactly what you’re selling.

The easiest way for folks to get ahold of you is in the web-app, through the CHAT FEATURE, so once you set up your account and create offers, make sure you check your chat and notifications regularly so you don’t miss any messages from people wanting to get ahold of you. :)
